Registered Physiotherapist | Clinic Owner | Advanced Manual Therapist

Preya Ramdass is a Registered Physiotherapist, Clinic Owner, and Advanced Manual Therapist at Integrative Physiotherapy & Wellness. She graduated from the University of Manitoba in 2006 with a Bachelor of Medical Rehabilitation in Physical Therapy and has continued to advance her clinical expertise through extensive postgraduate education.

Preya completed her Diploma of Advanced Manual and Manipulative Therapy through the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and later earned her Fellowship designation (FCAMPT) with the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy. In addition to advanced manual therapy, she has completed training in Acupuncture, Integrated Dry Needling, Pelvic Health (including urinary incontinence and paediatric bedwetting), Bone Health (Bone Fit), Menopause Care, and Post–Breast Cancer Shoulder Rehabilitation. She is currently pursuing further certification in Clinical Pilates and Concussion Management, reflecting her commitment to lifelong learning and evidence-based care.

Throughout her career, Preya has worked in a variety of outpatient orthopaedic settings, treating patients of all ages and a wide range of acute and chronic conditions. She is known for her collaborative, patient-centred approach, combining hands-on manual therapy, individualized exercise programming, acupuncture and dry needling, and patient education to deliver personalized, effective care.

Born in Guyana, Preya moved to Canada-Winnipeg at the age of 13 and has called Barrie home for over 14 years. Prior to opening Integrative Physiotherapy & Wellness, she spent more than six years serving patients in Alliston and across Simcoe County. She opened the clinic to create a small, community-focused practice where high-quality care, connection, and individualized treatment are always the priority.

Preya is an active member of Business Network International (BNI), where she collaborates with local professionals and healthcare providers to strengthen referral relationships and support the growth of small businesses within the community.

Outside of the clinic, Preya enjoys continuing her professional education, staying active, and challenging herself with new interests. She can often be found at F45 Southeast Barrie or on the sidelines cheering on her children at their sporting events.
