NEW PHYSIOTHERAPY CLIENTS - WHAT TO EXPECT
Every patient’s treatment is personalized, and our approach focuses on a combination of evidence-based therapies and exercises designed to restore function, reduce pain and increase mobility.
For all new clients, your first visit will include a comprehensive physiotherapy assessment, which typically lasts 45 to 60 minutes. During this session, your physiotherapist will take the time to thoroughly evaluate your condition, discuss your medical history, and understand your specific goals. Based on this assessment, your physiotherapist will then develop a personalized treatment plan tailored to your needs, helping you achieve the best possible outcomes. This ensures that every aspect of your care is customized to support your recovery and overall well-being.
Depending on your condition, your treatment may involve manual therapy, dry needling, modalities such as ultrasound or acupuncture, and prescribed exercises to help you regain strength and mobility.
The length of your treatment plan will vary depending on your condition and goals. Some patients may see improvement within a few sessions, while others may require longer-term therapy. We will regularly evaluate your progress and make adjustments to your plan as needed.
We believe that education is a critical part of the recovery process. Our clinic offers a range of resources to help you take charge of your healing journey. We may provide tailored home exercise programs to supplement your in-clinic treatments as well as access to educational materials such as articles, videos, and other resources on topics like injury prevention, postural correction, and more.

What's your cancellation policy?
A late cancellation or missed appointment creates an empty slot in the therapist's schedule that could have been filled by another patient. To avoid this, we require 24 business hours notice for any cancellations or changes to your appointment. If less than 24 hours' notice is given, or if you miss your appointment, you may be charged for that session. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us provide the best care to all our patients.
How to Cancel Your Appointment:
If you need to cancel, please call us at (705) 503-1250 or email us at info@integrativephysio 24 business hours before your scheduled appointment. For Monday appointments, cancellations must be made by 4:00 pm on Saturday. This notice allows us to offer the time to another patient in need.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us serve all our patients effectively.
