Conditions We Treat
-
Back Pain
Low Back Pain (LBP) is the most common complaint of all musculoskeletal problems, affecting up to approximately 80% of people throughout their lifetime. Education is a key component to effectively treat back pain.
-
Neck Pain
Several factors can lead to irritation or stress on the nerves in the neck, potentially triggering headaches. These factors encompass issues such as improper posture, neck strain, injuries, and medical conditions like a pinched nerve or herniated cervical disc. The association between neck pain and headaches is frequently highlighted, as a rigid neck has the potential to induce a headache.
-
Knee Pain
Overall knee pain can be due to bursitis, arthritis, tears in the ligaments, osteoarthritis of the joint, or infection. Instability, or giving way, is also another common knee problem. Instability is usually associated with damage or problems with the meniscuses, collateral ligaments, or patella tracking.
-
Shoulder Pain
The most common cause of shoulder pain occurs when rotator cuff tendons become trapped under the bony area in the shoulder. The tendons become inflamed or damaged. This condition is called rotator cuff tendinitis or bursitis.
-
Plantar Fasciitis
The plantar fascia runs along the bottom or arch of your foot, with most pain often localized around the heel. It is the most common cause of pain around the heel. Often prolonged cases of plantar fasciitis can lead to a bony growth in the heel, known as a heel spur.
