Registered Massage Therapist & Certified Lymphedema Therapist
-
Jenn Graduated from the College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in 2007 and has been a member of the Registered Massage Therapists Association of Ontario (RMTAO) since 2005. She has been a member in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) since 2008.
In addition to providing massage therapy, Jenn has completed the OBIA brain injury training program, Tracey Walton’s oncology massage therapy course, and received the RMTAO Certificate of Excellence in Assessment. Jenn has completed all three levels of Dr. Vodder International School training, giving her the Certified Lymphedema Therapist designation. This allows Jenn to work with patients who have a compromised lymphatic system caused by cancer, surgery, or hereditary conditions.
Most recently, Jenn has advanced her knowledge regarding breast/chest surgeries and their complications by completing The Mastectomy Guide levels one and two. Jenn’s massage therapy approach focuses on the brain-body connection and employs a variety of treatment modalities to augment the health and well-being of her patients. Patients can expect a safe, compassionate space where all bodies are respected. When not in the clinic, Jenn can be found in the garden, hiking, playing softball, chasing waterfalls, paddle boarding, or in her hammock with a good book. In winter, she hibernates with her husband and cats.
