Do you work at a desk all day?

Do you find yourself positioned in a poor posture to be more comfortable at your desk? It is important when working at your desk that you give your body the appropriate care it needs. Monitor Levels:

It is important that if you work from any type of monitor you have it at a level that will not be strenuous in your neck, keeping your spine in a neutral position reduces stress on your spinal discs, muscles, and ligaments. This minimizes the risk of developing back pain and discomfort.

Chair Height:

Make sure that your chair is at the best height, it is best when you can have your feet flat to the floor and have your knees at a 90-degree angle. This is how you can promote good circulation in your legs and minimize the risk of lower back pain and discomfort.

Keeping elbows close to the Body:

This technique can avoid any type of shoulder pain that is associated with bad posture at the desk. You can position your elbows at a 90-degree angle close to your sides this will help you sit up straight and not slouch

Take Regular Breaks:

Even with perfect posture, prolonged sitting can lead to many discomforts. Taking short breaks to stand, stretch, and move around improves circulation and reduces muscle fatigue.

Who knew your desk job could be so intense right?
